Men don’t need a woman to cook, clean and have sex. Because he can get sex from multiple women. A lot of them can cook and clean, their mother taught them or they can pay someone to get it.
The culture is telling them « these women do not get married », so why would a man go past with the culture is telling him and choose to have a wife…for one simple reason.
Because with the wife you can have :
– Love
– Nurturing
– Support
– Affection
This is what he can’t get from a roommate
So if that is not what leading with in your relationships with men: love, support, nurturing and respect…this is why your husband is pulling away.
Because in the beginning you gave him those things but as you got into the relationship you got bitter, resentful. You start seeing his flaws. Start counting that against him. You start measuring him against other men.
And now you are pulling back on the love, the affection and the nurturing.
I think this could be applied in reversed too. And we probably want a world where we have more love, affection, nurturing and support towards other (human) beings.
The issue that is rotting the world is that some people lie, manipulate, hide the truth…and wrong these people who give for others. The wronged people then get more careful, and can’t give as much to others…or maybe become a liar, manipulator, or hide.
It’s a vicious circle that is destroying everything. Lying, manipulating and hiding are forgotten ten commandments rules. They are not condemned as we used to, and it destroys our civilizations.
A weak person needs to lie, manipulate and hide because he can’t get what he wants by being itself. So this person cheats others. And it breaks everything.
