I had another soul-break, recently, with somebody who bumped on me via LinkedIn so to meetup when she comes in France.

This person told me she was open to anyone. Full of love and acceptance.

I shared, probably imperfectly, my story and the spiritual path I was on.

But when it became too… »opposite » to her own beliefs, she gave me the worst you can do to another being:

Reducing him to silence. To nothingness. To « I have seen, and you are worth nothing ».

This probably is persuaded that this is not it.

But (Wo)men, please LISTEN, it’s not about YOU, but about MY SUFFERING.

When I say that silence is doing that to me, the minimum you can do is say : « I understand. ».

Then you could be a better human being by saying: « I am sorry I can’t answer to your needs at the moment »

Then again better: « I will REALLY do my best and I apologize in advance for how much suffering it will bring.

I am imperfect. »

Then better…but it gets tiring so you got the idea :

« Please talk to me anytime you feel like,

knowing I have the right to respectfully say that I can’t answer or won’t be able to answer to all your needs.

I am just doing my best to be WITH you and not be perceived as being against you »

I understand.

I am sorry if you feel I don’t understand you or undermine you in any way.

I can’t seem to answer to your needs at the moment, and I am really sad about it. As for every failed relationship.

I will REALLY do my best, all the time,
and I apologize in advance for how much suffering it could bring in the process. I am unfortunately, imperfect.

And I will be so happy to work altogether on improving this, even create branches of when to use it, when to not use it, what we should remove, add, modify, delete, delete EVERYTHING? EVEN FROM THE HISTORY?

I am open to discuss it scientifically, rationally, with scepticism but no sins, and aware of our biases when the biaises are rationally and factually pointed out! But let’s do our best to not « impose » our truth to the being in front of us.
